As the NM Parent Training and Information Center, volunteers in our Adobe Corp are the champions for children with disabilities in their communities. These trained, caring team of volunteers are a part of our Family Leadership Action Network (FLAN). Our volunteers are parents, grandparents and others who help families become full, participating members of their child's IEP /IFSP team. Our Adobe Corp, community based advocates, are the key to statewide systems change for children with disabilities.
Adobe Corp volunteers help families in many ways. We invite you volunteer to in a way that would work best for you.
- Phone coaching or personal meetings to prepare families for their child's IEP.
- Sharing PRO materials, workshop opportunities and other resources with others.
- Attending meetings with families to empower informed decision-making.
- Assisting families with letter writing or parent reports about their child.
