Biography:

Jessica has been a self-advocate for many years. She first came to PRO when she was in high school and needed support with her own 504 plan. Larry Fuller offered her that support – first by advocating for her and then by giving her the tools she needed to advocate for herself. Ever since, Jessica has supported and encouraged others to learn their rights and advocate for themselves in the educational and healthcare systems.

Jessica has held a variety of positions at PRO. She has provided clerical support, run a daycare, and been a family liaison with Project Adobe. After an absence, Jessica is now back with PRO as our Receptionist. She keeps coming back she says because, “PRO is more than a job. They are my family!”

Jessica loves children and enjoys being part of the force that influences change in New Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her Chihuahua puppy.

Biography:

Cathy has been with Parents Reaching Out since September 2008. She applied for the job of receptionist with Parents Reaching Out after Intel Corporation downsized in November of 2007. She was just looking for a job, but after working for PRO, she found that PRO means a lot more than just a job. The mission statement reached out and captured her heart. As she began to see what PRO stood for, she clearly knew that PRO was where she needed to be. She wanted a job where she felt she could do something to give back to the community. The thing she loves most about working for PRO is helping her co-workers accomplish whatever task they are doing on behalf of families and children.

Cathy is the proud mother of three children; two daughters and one son. She is also the grandmother of six beautiful grandchildren; four boys and two girls. These children all bring such awesome joy to her life. Cathy loves to spend time on crafts, crochet, and needle work. She also writes poetry and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow.
