Time: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
Build your skills in understanding the IEP process and parental rights under IDEA. Learn how quality communication between home and school helps IEP teams make child-centered decisions to improve the outcomes for students with disabilities. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:00 am. Workshop begins at 8:30. Lunch will be provided.
Join us for an incredible two-day conference. We will have sessions on Early Childhood, Health, General Education, Special Education, and a Spanish session on General Education. In addition, we will have Diana Autin, Executive Director of the New Jersey Statewide Parent Advocacy Network (SPAN), as our Keynote Speaker on Thursday morning. Friday morning`s featured speaker will be George Bickert, who is principal at Crownpoint High School in New Mexico.
REEL Fathers of New Mexico will be screening the film, Becoming Eduardo, on Thursday evening. Ongoing activities will include a Silent Auction and the Center for Creativity.
