Day One PSA A very big thank you goes to Chris Minnick, DOH Public Relations Specialist in Las Cruces, for his diligent work in filming and editing the Day One PSA. Chris has posted this PSA to YouTube at: Click here to view video. Additional credit goes to Dr. Janis Gonzales, Medical Director - Children’s Medical Services (Family Health Bureau), for her medical expertise. In 1997, Doreen Sansom and Grace Hutzel wrote two little books – From Day One a Baby Knows and Day Two: A Toddler’s World and You. 15 years later, these little books are still in demand. The PSA is a 30-second version of the Day One book. The books, in English and Spanish, can be ordered by contacting gloria.bonner@state.nm.us. In addition to the hard copy, the books can be found in digital form at www.earlychildhoodnm.com (EC Initiatives/Day One). Additional new Day One material is currently under development by the Santa Fe Community College Film Department and Project LAUNCH.
